Joburg Art Gallery Hopping with Thabo the Tourist

Experience Joburg’s first of its kind therapeutic Art Gallery Hopping Experience with the art & tourism connoisseur @Thabo the Tourist in the vibrant multi-cultural districts, business node and tourist attraction of South Africa and learn more about Johannesburg northern suburbs of Rosebank and, Parkwood through an art enthusiast tour.

On this tour we will be hopping on Joburg’s most prestigious Art galleries, paying attention to the art world. I focus on introducing you to new exhibitions having discussions about the artworks which will help you think about what you are looking at more deeply trying to make you notice the details you might otherwise overlook on your own. Tourists gets the opportunity to be guided out of their comfort zone, receive a positive experience that is defined by their own interests and feel the healing power of Art in a more memorable, relaxed and a fun way.

One will have an opportunity to interact with curators, gallerists, locals and might meet artists while experiencing the electrifying economic movement and the lifestyle of Johannesburg north.

Other things to note; Prepare for a show stopping sculpture collections, photographic exhibitions, contemporary African fine art exhibitions featuring African artists curated by Africans and, of course, in Africa. Clients are encouraged to purchase preferably after the experience.

This tours runs in two (2) schedules from (10am-1pm & 2pm-5pm) weekdays from Tuesday to Friday and Saturdays from (10am-1pm) only.
